Sub-inspector convicted for producing fake evidence before court

PESHAWAR: Judicial Magistrate Peshawar Sher Hassan Khan convicted Sub-inspector police for three month imprisonment along with Rs,15 thousand for producing fake evidence before court, on Thursday.

According to prosecution Sub Inspector Nizakat Shah serving at Pahari Pura police station has arrested Tilah Muhammad in the premises of Bana Manri station and registered case of narcotics against him.

The sub-inspector had produce contraband before court which was not hashish according to Forensic Science Laboratory report while the court had called explanation from him in this regard.

Police Sub Inspector Nizakat Shah failed to depend allegation labeled against him and found guilty by the court of law at Peshawar.

The sub inspector has convicted under sections 166, 182 and 344 of Pakistan penal code and imposed three months of imprisonment along with Rs,15 thousand fine.
