KABUL (BNA): In a recent meeting with the Russian partners of Afghan Petrol Group, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, highlighted the substantial investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mining sector. He emphasized the significant potential in the oil and gas industries, particularly given the improved security conditions in the country.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, Sheikh Al-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar met with representatives from Afghan Petrol Group and their Russian partners in his office.
In the meeting, both sides discussed the various investment opportunities available in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, especially in the oil and gas sectors.
The Acting Minister Delawar highlighted that the improved security situation in Afghanistan has created numerous opportunities for investment in the mining sector.
At the end of the meeting, the Russian partners of Afghan Petrol Group expressed their satisfaction with the ministry’s commitments and cooperation, showing a keen interest in investing in Afghanistan’s oil and gas resources.
