LAHORE: Punjab School Education department Thursday issued a notification for summer vacations in all the schools of the province.
According to a notification issued in this regard, the schools will observe two months summer vacations from June 1 to July 31.
The Education department has also directed all the private schools to keep the timings of their schools till 11:00am for the remaining days of this month i.e. from May 27 to May 31.
The government schools children will get the homework and books during the summer vacations.
The early summer vacations have been announced due to the current heatwave that has gripped the country.
