Supreme Court takes suo-motu notice of police encounters in Punjab

LAHORE: Mian Saqib Nisar, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice took a suo-motu notice of extrajudicial killing in police encounters in Punjab and ordered the police chief to submit a report on the total encounters conducted in the province.

CJP took notice on Sunday and ordered to submit the report in one week of the extra judicial killing in police encounters in Punjab province.
