LAKKI MARWAT: A suspected terrorist involved in cases of subversive and heinous acts surrendered before police here in Lakki police station.
An official said on Sunday that Obaidur Rehman was wanted by area police in cases of Shah Hasankhel suicide blast and attacks on city police station and office of district police officer.
The official claimed that the arrested militant was wanted by police for his involvement in both terror incidents.
In January 2010, over one hundred people including LEAs personnel were killed when a suicide bomber had detonated his explosive laden 4×4 pickup truck in volleyball ground in Shah Hasankhel village.
A group of militants had also attacked city police station and office of district police chief with hand grenades and heavy weapons on the night of 7th July in 2009.
