Sustainable peace, security in region Afghanistan-China joint goal, says VP Danesh

KABUL (Agencies): Deputy to China’s Communist Party Central Committee’s International Department and his accompanied delegation met with Second Vice-President Sarwar Danesh.

During the meeting which was also attended by Chinese ambassador to Kabul, both sides discussed issues such bolstering bilateral cooperation in the fields of politics, security, economic and cultural. The Chinese side called the aim behind his trip a move to expand relations between the two countries, adding over the last few years, as a result of efforts made by both countries, governments, relations between the two sides have increased in terms of politics, economic and culture.

Calling one-day, one road the biggest economic project in the region, the Chinese official appreciated Afghan government’s support in the respect and stressed on further cooperation of regional countries in its implementation.

He also reported about his country’s cooperation in Afghan peace talks and assured of Chinese government and people’s continued cooperation with the people and government of Afghanistan. Pointing at old relations between the people of Afghanistan and China, VP Danesh called China one of Afghanistan’s powerful neighbor and stressed on bolstering bilateral relations in different fields between the two countries.

While calling sustainable peace and security in the region Afghanistan-China joint goal, VP Danesh stressed on China’s key role in Afghan peace talks. Welcoming Chinese government and private sector interest on investing in Afghanistan, VP Danesh added that Afghanistan is rich of natural resource for investment.
