Swat Expressway inauguration before Eid

MINGORA: Minister for Communication and Works KP Akbar Ayub Khan said that the Swat Motorway will be inaugurated before Eid and it will be the Eid gift to the public from PTI government. He said that completion of this mega project public wil benefit the people with travelling facilities besides promoting tourism and culture.

He expressed these views during his visit to the Swat Expressway here on Tuesday. Secretary C&W Muhammad Shahab Khattak and other officers of FWO accompanied the minister during the visit.

Akbar Ayub Khan said that the work on the project was in final stages and added that distance between the far away areas will be reduced and economy of these areas will be increased.

Col. Munsoor Ahmad Javaid and Project Director Barkat Ullah briefed the minister about the ongoing developmental schemes. Minister further added that no delay will be accepted in the timely completion of this mega project and also other developmental schemes. He also said that this is included in our party vision that better facilities of health, education and travelling will be provided to the public and we all are struggling for it day and night.
