Taking Kabaddi to New Heights!

F.P. Report

LAHORE: The time has finally come when our very own traditional sport, Kabaddi has started to attract attention of the private sector. The launch of Pakistan’s first Super Kabaddi League presented an opportunity to Fatima Fertilizers, which has bought the Faisalabad Sherdils team. In order to celebrate its launch, a ceremony was held in Lahore on 28th April, 2018.

The ceremony which was attended by celebrities from the sports industry, government officials from the Punjab Sports board, Kabaddi Federation, league owners Strawberry Sports and many other notable personalities brought to life a sport that has been facing neglect for a long time.

Fatima Fertilizer has been at the forefront in helping the farmers of Pakistan achieve more from less.

Their Director Marketing, Khurram Javed, explained that the company has a vision which is closely tied to a prosperous Pakistan. By giving greater yields to farmers, prosperity becomes inevitable for the community and sector at large. By supporting a sport like Kabaddi, not only is the company out to win the hearts of farmers but build a solid base for the sport to grow on and catch the imagination of Pakistanis.
