BADAKHSHAN (Agencies): Taliban attack on police checkpoints was failed in Wordoj district, Badakhshan province.
SanaullahRohani spokesman for Badakhshan security commandment said, armed Taliban stormed on police checkpoints in outskirt of Wordoj District, their attacks was severely defeated.
Three Taliban insurgents were killed and dozens others have been injured in the clash, numerous of weapons were also seized by police forces in the clash.
