Taliban visits families of Education Center explosion victims

KABUL (Khaama Press): The Chief of Staff to the Taliban Ministry of Interior Affairs met with the families of the victims of the Kaaj education center explosion in the Hazara neighborhood of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, the ministry stated.
According to the Taliban Interior Ministry’s announcement, the chief of staff of the ministry, Zain Ullah Aber, visited the families of Kaaj tragedy victims to convey the condolences and sympathies of the Acting Minister of Interior, Sirajuddin Haqqani.
Mawlawi Ibrahim, the deputy Taliban police chief for the Kabul province, stated in the video released by the ministry that the attackers’ goal in the latest incident, the Kaaj tragedy, was to harm all Muslims.
Having said that harming Muslims was the intention, the Taliban security official claimed that the enmity does not distinguish between Sunnis and Shiites Muslims.
A suicide bomber struck the Kaaj tutoring institution in the Hazara neighborhood of west Kabul early on Friday, the 30th of September.
After releasing the preliminary figures of 19 dead and 27 injured from the deadly explosion west of Kabul, the Taliban Ministry of Interior has not yet provided the updated numbers.
Nevertheless, for the first time, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has taken action and released updated figures on the casualties of the suicide attack on the Kaaj education center.
The attack claimed the lives of at least 53 people, including 46 young girls, and injured an additional 110, according to the UNAMA figures posted on its official Twitter page.
The Hazara minority community has described the deadly assault on Kaaj as “genocide” and a flagrant example of atrocities committed against Hazaras. However, no group or organization has claimed responsibility for it.
