Taliban’s shadow Governor killed in Uruzgan

KABUL: Afghan Ministry Of Defense (MoD) claimed that the shadow deputy governor of Taliban group for Uruzgan was killed during Afghan security forces operations.

MoD spokesman, Mohammad Radmanish told Afghan media on Tuesday that the deceased was identified as Abdullah and he was killed in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province.

He also claimed that at least 45 militants were killed in the past 24 hours in different parts of the country.

He added that 37 other insurgents were also injured in the operations and 25 more were arrested.
