MUMBAI: Actors singing in their films seems to be the new trend in Bollywood. So far, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana have got us grooving to their vocals.

And now, it seems Tara Sutaria is all set to show us her vocal skills in Sajid Nadiadwala’s RX 100. The film is scheduled to go on floors in June and will be shot in the scenic locales of Dehradun and Mussoorie.

Tara gave us a glimpse of her singing talent at the trailer launch of Student Of The Year 2. She sang Lag Jaa Gale at the event, leaving everyone spellbound. A source told a daily that Tara left everyone pleasantly surprised when she sang Lag Jaa Gale at the trailer launch of Student Of The Year 2. Tara was also heard singing on Koffee With Karan episode where she was seen on the couch with the other two students, Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday. That’s when everyone realised that this girl could sing as well.  The source further shared that the makers of RX 100 too realised this talent and got her to sing a romantic song in the film. The song will be picturised on her in the action remake that also stars Ahan Shetty, another debutant.

The source informed that Sajid Nadiadwala discussed the idea with his director, Milan Lutharia. After which, they informed Tara who is a trained vocalist and she happily agreed. In fact, Tara also wants to bring out an album in future.
