ISLAMABAD: interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said holding Senate election is a pleasant milestone and the conspiracy theories of the failed politicians have met failure.
“ Holding Senate polls is a pleasant milestone. Certain circles had created suspicions and doubts. The conspiracy theories of failed politicians and conspiracies of the past have met failure”, he said this while talking to media men here Saturday outside national assembly on the eve of Senate polls.
He regretted that decisions are being given against one man and target killing of one party is continuing. Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified but PML-N could not be disqualified, he added.
He held PML-N has no program to go for any clash . It does not want confrontation among national institutions. The institutions should work together, he added.
He underlined that decisions made by Pervez Musharraf are protected and on the other hand we are facing humiliation all over the world due to decisions against Nawaz Sharif.
