Teaching ethics sessions started in govt schools

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary & Secondary Education Department on the directives of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has started ethics sessions all over the province in Government schools.

In this regard, the Department has directed all schools to conduct assembly presentation on daily basis. KP E&SE plans to organize awareness sessions on ethics including respect of elders, hygiene, abiding law and traffic rules and steps against abuse.

“We have directed all schools to conduct debates and speeches by students on daily basis. This will not only help in raising awareness among the students but also improve communications and presentation skills of the students” said Rafiq Khattak, Director General of KP E&SE “Schools have been communicated topics including respect of elders and parents, abiding Traffic rules, hygiene and cleanliness. We will make sure this policy is religiously followed and implemented across KP and will continue to monitor all schools” Rafiq Khattak added.
