KARACHI: TEDxKIETPakistan, an independently organized TEDx event was held at KIET Main Campus, PAF Airmen Academy, Korangi Creek on 30 May 2023, on the theme of ‘Our Collective Resilience’ aimed to showcase the remarkable ideas and achievements of individuals who made a significant impact in their respective fields.
The theme highlighted the need for being resilient in the face of odds and continue to galvanize others urging them to overcome challenges and hardships.

By bringing together thought leaders, change-makers, and visionaries, TEDxKIETPakistan sought to inspire, educate, and empower the audience to think differently and take action for a better collective future.

The distinguished speakers who graced the stage at TEDxKIETPakistan included:
Dr. Abdul Bari: With a wealth of expertise in the field of medicine, Dr. Abdul Bari had dedicated his life to improving healthcare systems and providing quality medical care to underserved populations.

Abdul Waheed Punjwani: An accomplished social entrepreneur, Abdul Waheed Punjwani was committed to empowering marginalized communities through innovative projects that created sustainable solutions.

M. Jawwad Paracha: As an influential advocate for digital transformation, M. Jawwad Paracha had played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the technology landscape, providing opportunities for third-world countries to thrive in the digital age.

M. Iftekhar Yezdani: With his profound insights into the power of storytelling, M. Iftekhar Yezdani had captivated the audience, highlighting the significance of space science.

Zunaira Waheed: A young author who has written several books published on Amazon.

Aysal Waheed: A young, passionate equestrian who is also an author and public speaker.

Kamran Ali Khan: Engineer and associate professor at KIET with avast experience of conducting talk shows and motivational programmes on electronic media.

Noosha Zuberi: A Student of KIET who talked about her journey as a student and artist. She used her creativity to challenge societal norms.

Another outstanding speaker who also was present at the occasion was Mr. Ashraf Habibullah, an accomplished Structural Engineer, President and Founder of CSI.
He delivered a motivational talk inspiring the youth to devote their time and energy in an effective manner by staying healthy and happy yet channelizing their efforts to pursue ones goals in life.

Each speaker brought a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to the TEDxKIETPakistan stage, ensuring an enriching and transformative experience for attendees.

Through their captivating talks, they addressed a wide range of topics, from engineering to entrepreneurship, technology, and social change.
