Terrorists being successfully tracked down from homeland: Interior Minister Naqvi

LAHORE: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has lauded the security forces for foiling major conspiracy of terrorism from Afghan soil.

Addressing a press briefing in Lahore, Interior Minister said that security forces were successfully wiping out terrorists from the homeland.

He said 54 Khawarij were killed in North Waziristan in a single operation which was big achievement of the forces.

Mohsin Naqvi said Khawarij were sent to Pakistan for terrorism. Naqvi said a large number of weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists. The Interior Minister said spies in Pakistan will also be eliminated. Interior Minister said terrorists were constantly being uprooted from the soil of Pakistan and each and every conspiracy against Pakistan will be foiled.

Interior Minister said if India makes the mistake of adventurism, it will get a befitting reply. Pakistan is constantly informing the world about India’s tactics.

He said a large number of Khawarij deaths is a clear message to terrorists. He said terrorists were allowed to come forward, action was taken from three sides.

Interior Minister said Pakistan does not trust India, Islamabad will cooperate in independent and impartial investigation. He said India’s deal not sold, drama failed.
