TFP’s voice for bereaved Palestinians

The Frontier Post (TFP) news hawk raised the issue of mass human rights violations and blatant Israeli aggression against innocent civilians in the West Bank and Gaza at the White House, the power hub that controls the US foreign Policy, directs US military interventions and propels support to its partners and allies including Israel along with advocating its legacies regarding civil liberties, democracy and fundamental human rights in all parts of the world. The Frontier Post Managing Director and Washington Bureau Chief, categorically spoke on behalf of bereaved Palestinians and asked about the silence of the Biden administration over human rights violations committed by the Israeli regime against Palestine. White House National Security Council Spokesman, John F. Kirby replied that President Biden has spoken about the innocent lives and rules of war with Israel and the American people since day one, the first trucks carrying humanitarian aid have just reached Gaza, only taking place because of President Biden’s negotiation with the Egyptian President and Israel’s Prime Minister a day ago. According to Kirby, October 7 attacks on Israel were horrific and Israel has the right and obligation to defend itself.

The humanitarian and security situation in Palestine has become dire after the Israeli military made a record of brutality killing around 3,000 people including women and children, through continuous bombardment and air strikes since October 7. Israel’s blockade of Gaza, has caused a humanitarian crisis as the invading military has stopped the entry of food, water, fuel and life saving drugs into the occupied Palestinian territory. Unfortunately, the Biden administration has issued a face saving condemnation statement against violence and called for a ceasefire and peaceful solution of the dispute but on other hand it sent massive economic and military support alongside deployment of troops and dispatch of two aircraft carriers apparently in support of Israel. The panic caused by the American leadership, the huge political, economic, military and diplomatic assistance offered by Biden to Tel Aviv portrays that Washington was a party to the Israel-Palestine conflict instead of an ally and Hamas has practically invaded the US instead of occupying Jewish military.

In fact, the United States is a global power and its due role is mediation, and peace brokering which is totally absent in case of Palestine as well as Kashmir. Washington’s unilateral support for Israel has badly tarnished the US’s image as the world’s super power and provided huge space to its adversaries to take advantage and fill the gap. Although, US policymakers claim high grounds, and huge successes yet, Taliban victory in Afghanistan and breakout of Hamas-Israel war are two major setbacks of US diplomacy in both regions. Hence, Mr. Kirby and other American Highups must think of the other side of the mirror which is much ugly than likeable.
