NANGARHAR (Agencies): The Canal Department officials in Nangarhar province say that that the department has provided employment opportunities to 3,500 people in the province.
According to Mawlavi Ghulam Al Rahman Kazim, head of the department, these people were from different provinces, which have been hired by agricultural companies and organizations supporting the agricultural sector fo Afghanistan.
Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is trying to provide employment opportunities and reduce the economic crisis in the country, he added.
