KUNDUZ: Three gunmen were killed after they attacked a security post in Takhar province, police said Saturday. Gunmen attacked a security post on Kunduz-Takhar road in Aaq Masjid area, western outskirts of Taluqan city, last night, said Abdul Khalil Aseer.

He told media that police returned fire, killing three Taliban gunmen and wounding another, adding police did not suffer any casualty. Local residents, however, said four gunmen were killed in the last night clash, adding those killed by police were robbers, not Taliban.
