Three terrorists killed in Dera Ismail Khan

ISLAMABAD: At least three suspected terrorists were killed during a search operation conducted by security forces in Gara Madda area near Dera Ismail Khan here on Sunday.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement in this regard and according to it that security forces were carrying out a search operation in Gara Madda area when the alleged encounter took place.

ISPR claimed that the officials signaled the three suspected people to stop the bike but they reportedly started firing on the security officials and in response forces also started firing on them and all the three suspected terrorists were killed in the encounter.

The deceased were later identified as Iqbal, Waheed, and Majid, said ISPR, adding that Iqbal was reportedly carrying a head money of Rs1 million.
