TLYRA ends sit-in protest in Lahore

LAHORE: Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) has ended its protest in provincial capital of Punjab Lahore in the wee hours of Friday.

The workers of religious parties dispersed after the Punjab government accepted all demands of their demands and the Chief of TLYRA Khadim Hussain Rizvi announced the decision of ending the protest after consulting with the party advisory council.

Rizvi said that the report copy of Raja Zafarul Haq will be shared with the protesters and the case of TLYRA worker has been registered in a Rawalpindi police station, the worker was killed in police crackdown during Faizabad sit-in protest.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Thursday told media dialogue with the religious had been successful and Punjab government accepted all demands of the protesters.
