ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Friday disqualified the PTI Secretary General Jahangir Tareen for life in the petitions filed against him by PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi.
Chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar announced the decision and remarked that Jahangir Tareen used doubtful terms in his documents and announced his disqualified for life.
According to the short verdict, Tareen was disqualified on the basis of article 62-1-F of the constitution as he was found involved in insider trading scandal.
