LANDI KOTAL: Three persons including a grandfather and his two grandsons were passed away when roof of room caved in here in Pased Khel, the bordering area of Landi Kotal on Tuesday night due to down pouring.
The administration and local sources informed that last night roof of a room of the house of one, Saleem Khan, resident of Awal Khan Kelly, Pased Khel fell down and he along with his two grandsons were buried under the debris.
Soon after the incident the neighbors rushed to the site and retrieved the injured however Saleem Khan died on the spot while the two minor children identified as Fawad, 07 and Hewad, 05 were rushed to headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal for medical but succumbed to their injuries. On Wednesday morning funeral prayer of the three deceased were offered and laid to rest in their ancestor graveyard. Because of torrential scores of the roof of rooms caved in, in Landi Kotal, Jamrud and Bara.
