ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned PTI Chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to appear before its investigation team on Tuesday (March 21) in connection with Toshakhana case.
This was the second call-up notice to the former prime minister who opted to ignore the first one.
Imran Khan has been asked to appear before the investigation team in the NAB Rawalpindi office.
A NAB team visited Imran Khan’s residence in Zaman Park of Lahore on Monday to serve the call-up notice on Bushra Bibi.
The former first lady has been summoned by the NAB to appear before it on March 21 in connection with Toshakhana case.
Foreign funding case
Another NAB team led by Head Constable Muhammad Shafi visited Zaman Park to deliver court summons in connection with foreign funding case.
The NAB team earlier contacted PTI leadership for delivery of notice for hearing of the case in the accountability court on March 21.
The NAB kept waiting for some time but no PTI leader came to receive the notice which was later accepted by the house servants.
