Toy guns negatively impact student

PESHAWAR: In order to minimize the use of toy guns and its negative impact on children and students in society, the tribal youth have started a campaign at school, college and community level to create awareness among people regarding it.
In this correlation, several events in tribal areas were held with the help of local community and teachers of various schools in Jamrud, Landi Kotal and Bara tehsil to let people aware with regard to negative impact of use of toy guns. Students who were educated over the use of toy guns took keen interest in it.
A young man aging 24-year, Maaz Ahmed and executive member of Tribal Youth Forum Pakistan, said that activities were carried out under “TeachCamp” project in various parts of Khyber tribal district. He said the activities took place under three phases.
In the first phase of the activity, he stated and saying the community members were educated, secondly students of schools and academies got aware and in last and third phase awareness walks and informative materials were distributed among community members.
During dilapidated law and order condition in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said and adding it was imperative to educate parents and students with regard to negative impact of toy guns on psychology of children.
