RIYADH: A 96-hour tourist visa to the kingdom will also be provided with the Saudia airlines ticket, on Wednesday.
Saudi Airlines spokesperson Abdullah Al Shahrani said that a new service would be launched in the following few days.
“The tourist visas will be issued without fee to those who purchase Saudia airlines ticket provided that the duration of the visa does not exceed four days,” he added.
“Under the Saudi Vision 2030, the passengers of the Saudia flights will be given the facility of tourist visa without fee when purchasing a ticket,” he stated.
“In this regard, the digital system will be made effective soon. Under the Saudi Vision 2030, the kingdom is providing an opportunity to more and more tourists to come in,” he declared.
“The duration of the tourist visa will be four days, and Umrah can be performed on it. Events and programmes can be attended, and any city of Saudi Arabia can be visited on the visa,” he further said.
“In this regard, Saudia has gained support from a number of government institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Zufur Rehman Programme,” he added.
