Turkey claims arrest of IS commander

ISTANBUL: Turkey claimed to have arrested an alleged commander of Islamic State (IS) in Eskishir area of Turkey.

The local media reported that 41 years old Iraqi was arrested and he was identified only by the initials as C.E.T, he was arrested when a police team raided on a hotel.

The local media reported the arrested IS commander was in prison for planning to kill the former Iraqi Prime Minister Noori-al-Maliki. Estimated 300 persons were killed in Turkey in IS attack and turkey has started crackdown against these forces.
