Turkey will work with Taliban if they are recognized: Erdogan

KABUL (TOLONews): The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan that said Turkey will work with the Taliban if they are recognized.
Talking to CBS News on Sunday, Erdogan said women should be included in the government and that after such inclusion Turkey will work with the new government.
“Turkey’s approach toward women’s is quite well-known: women are present in every aspect of life. Our views would apply to Afghanistan as well. Whenever women become more involved, more active in every aspect of life, we can support them if they would need us in healthcare, security and other walks of life,” he said.
He, however, said Turkey will not work with the Taliban unless they are recognized by the international community. “If they will be accepted and recognized we can do business, but if not, we won’t do business with them,” he added.
Erdogan’s new remarks come as Turkey had been planning to help in running the Kabul airport.
The Foreign Ministry of the caretaker cabinet in a statement said on Monday that all technical problems at Kabul airport have been resolved and asked international airlines to resume their flights.
