KABUL (Agencies): The deputy minister of interior for counter-narcotics affairs, Mullah Abdul Haq Akhund, met with the charge d’affaires of the Turkish embassy in Kabul on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the interior ministry, the deputy minister commended Turkey for its positive relations and activities in Afghanistan, especially in the fight against narcotics. He also asked for Turkey’s support in treating drug addicts.
The charge d’affaires of the Turkish embassy expressed his appreciation for the counter-narcotics department’s efforts in the eradication of drugs in the country and assured his full cooperation in this field.
