Two arrested in connection with Mina murder case

KABUL: The police forces have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder case of former journalist Mina Mangal in Kabul city.

The Kabul Police Headquarters in a statement said the police forces arrested the two suspects during separate operations.

The statement further added that the detained individuals have confessed during the preliminary investigations that they were involved in the murder of Mina Gul.

According to Kabul Police, the family members of Mina Gul have also confirmed that the detained suspects were directly involved in the murder of the former journalist.

Mina Mangal was serving as an adviser to the Lower House of Parliament when she was shot dead by unknown gunmen earlier this month. (Khaama Press)
