Two brothers shot dead in Swabi

SWABI: Two brothers were shot dead when they were on their way home here on Monday, said police. The incident was occurred in jurisdiction of Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate police station at Gandaf, a far-flung village of Gadoon Amazai mountainous belt.

The dead bodies were brought to Topi civil hospital for postmortem and their mother sitting beside the dead bodies was crying. An official of the Gadoon Estate police station told this correspondent that two brothers, Sajjad Hussain and Imtiaz Hussain, sons of Noor Akbar had come to Tehsil Topi Main bazaar for buying essential some commodities.

However, he said that they were traced by their rivals and monitored them till their returning. As they entered the Gandaf village their rivals sitting in a secret place have started spraying them with bullets. They failed to get a little space to protect themselves. Both were killed on the spot. The cause of the incident was stated an old enmity. The mother of the deceased has registered an FIR in Gadoon police station against two brothers, Waqar Khan and Muntazir Khan and started investigations.
