Two die, 14 hurt as container carrying Afghan families upturns

ATTOCK (PPI): An Afghanistan bound container upturned on G.T. Road near Hattian, rescue sources said on Sunday.

“Atleast two persons were killed and 14 others sustained severe injuries in the mishap,” rescue sources said. According to rescue sources, the container was carrying several Afghan families destined to Afghanistan.

The container went out of the control of the driver and overturned after colliding with a bridge, sources shared. “The injured have been shifted to hospital for medical attendance,” rescue sources added.

Pakistan has fixed November 01 deadline for the foreign nationals illegally staying in the country to leave. He said no person will be allowed illegally staying in the country any more.
