Two FC personnel martyred, five injured in cross-border attack in Kurram

PESHAWAR: Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) has said that at least two Frontier Constabulary personnel were martyred and five others injured in an attack from Afghanistan near the border in Lower Kurram Agency.

ISPR issued a statement in this regard on Sunday and according to the statement that Frontier Constabulary were on the routine patrolling along the border for plugging of gaps and making necessary preparations for starting fencing along the Pak-Afghan border when the attack was launched in a result two FC personnel were martyred and five others were injured in it.

Keeping in view the vulnerability, the Pakistan Amry has started fencing the border in order to curtail the movement of militants across the border.

Both Pakistan and Afghanistan have been accusing each other of providing shelter to terrorists and carrying out attacks on their lands and killing the innocent civilians.
