Two injured in firing incident, police arrest 19 suspects in operations

KARACHI: At least two persons were injured in different incidents and police arrested 19 suspected during raids which were conducted in parts of Karachi late Saturday night.

As per details, a stray bullet injured a child in Orangi and another person was injured in a when he shown resistance during a robbery In North Nazimabad area of metropolis.

Similarly, police conducted raid at supermarket in Liaquatabad area and arrested three members of robber gang. Police officials confirmed that the arrested were identified as Rehan, Mukhtiar Ali, and Ali Murtaza.

Police also recovered a car and a pistol from the arrested suspects, who had arrived at the supermarket with the intention to rob it.

An alleged street criminal was taken into custody during an operation conducted in Orangi Town’s Pakistan Bazaar area, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)-West said.

Meanwhile, a search operation was conducted in Lines Area and A.B. Sina Line locale, wherein 15 suspects were detained for questioning, police sources revealed.
