KHAIRPUR: As many as two persons were killed and nine others were injured when a speeding trailer collided with a van at Mehran National Highway near Khairpur.
According to reports, the van was carrying the Umrah pilgrims when it was hit by a speeding trailer in Pir Wasan area, killing two persons on the spot and injuring nine others.
Police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital with the help of local residents. Police have also arrested the driver of the trailer.
