GUJRANWALA: A man killed his grandmother and sister on the name of honor in Qila Dedar Singh area of Gujranwala on Sunday.
Police told media that the accused Sufyan, lose his temper after a heated debate in house and opened fired at his two sisters in a result one of the sisters died, while other was injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, grandmother came forward to resolve the issue but the accused also fired bullets at her, killing her on the spot. The criminal manage to escape from the crime scene after committing the crime.
The bodies of deceased, identified as Bushra bibi and Iqra, have been shifted to hospital for postmortem, while the injured girl is under treatment.
Eyewitnesses told police that the case was of honor killing. A case has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to arrest him.
Similar on Thursday, a woman was killed for ‘honour’ in Pind Dadan Khan district of Jhelum.
