Two pro-govt local militiamen killed

SHABARGHAN: Taliban gunmen killed two pro-government local militiamen and wounded another in northern Jowzjan province, police said Thursday.

The clash occurred near the centre of Aqcha district after Taliban attacked Aqchanuma Post, said Abdul Hafiz Khashi, security chief of Jowzjan police. He told AIP that two pro-government local militiamen were killed and another wounded in the gunfight, adding the Taliban also suffered casualties but they had no accurate count. Taliban have not said anything in this regard.
