CHINIOT: At least two people were shot dead and two others were injured on early Wednesday morning in a firing incident between two groups in Chiniot.
According to reports, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Bhawana Police Station.
Police told media that suspect identified as Amjad along with his accomplice tried to kidnap a woman, which resulted in exchange of fire between two groups.
The bodies and injured were moved to the hospital for legal formalities and medical aid to them, while search for the arrest of the culprits was underway.
