Two shot dead over land dispute

KARAK: A piece of land left two persons dead and two persons including a woman seriously injured in the incident of firing in Mansoor Garh area of district Karak. Police sources informed here on Tuesday that in at morning time in Mansoor Garh area of Tehsil Banda Daud Shah in the limits of Banda Daud Shah police station two rival groups started firing over a piece of land.

As a result of firing four persons including a woman seriously injured and one person each from both groups identified as Shireen and Farooq succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital while the other injured Jalil and the women were immediately shifted to Tehsil headquarters hospital Banda Daud Shah for treatment.

The doctors stated the conditions of both injured persons precarious. Police registered FIRs on the complaints of both sides and also arrested one person each from both rival groups. Police registered FIR of the incident and started further investigations in the case. Police claimed that search and strike operation has been launched in the area to arrest all the nominated persons in the FIR.
