Two ‘terrorists’ killed in CTD operation in Multan

MULTAN: At least two suspected terrorists were killed in a raid conducted by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Sunday night at Jalalpur Pirwala area of Multan.

CTD received information that a suspected terrorist identified as Ijaz Asghar along with other five companions is hiding in the area and CTD team reached the spot to arrest the terrorist but they opened fire on officials and in exchange of fire two suspected terrorists were killed, CTD officials told media.

The other suspected terrorists managed to escape from the crime scene. CTD officials claimed to have recovered weapons, grenades and explosive materials from the possession of the deceased and one of the deceased was the group leader Asghar.
