Two women including a cop killed in separate incidents

KABUL: Two women, including a cop were killed in separate incidents in various parts of the country.

Spokesman of Uruzgan governor, Dost Muhammad Nayab told local media outlet that one Mohibullah slaughtered his wife Bibi Shah Gul in the first security zone of Tarinkot city.

He added that Shah Gul was a midwife in the past and adding that she had recently joined the Afghan National Police.

The deceased was facing domestic disputes with her husband over the past more than one year and they were living separately and elders resolved the dispute among them at the police headquarter and later Mohibullah killed Shah Gul and managed to escape after committing the crime.

The police registered the case and started investigation.

Similarly, a man killed his wife over domestic disputes in Kalafgan district in Takhar province.

Residents of the area told media that one Hanifa was killed by her husband

Takhar police spokesman Abdul Khalil Aseer confirmed the incident and said the accused had been arrested for investigation.
