U-19 World Cup: Pakistan to face India in semifinal

CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan will face the traditional rival, India in the semi final of ICC Under-19 World Cup in Christchurch on Tuesday.

India easily defeated Bangladesh by 131 runs in the quarterfinal today to cement its place in the U-19 World Cup semis. Pakistan had already qualified for the semifinal after thrashing South Africa in a quarter final.

Australia will take on high-flying Afghanistan in the other semifinal at Hagley Oval, Christchurch on Monday.

Both the semifinals will start at 2:30am Pakistan time (10:30am New Zealand time).
