United States govt wants to meet Pakistani leadership: Yousafzai

F.P. Report

BANNU: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai on Monday said that the United States’ authorities wanted to meet Pakistani leadership.

While addressing an event in Bannu, Yousafzai said that every country wanted to initiate trade with Islamabad now, whereas, the US government was also willing to meet top leadership in Pakistan.

The provincial information minister said that the country was under heavy liabilities before the government of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

“Saudi Arabia and other ally countries have assisted Pakistan during the tough time.”

He was of the view that Prime Minister Imran Khan was clearing the liabilities despite the loans were not taken by him. He said that the government was well-aware about the inflation but the nation should wait for some time.

While criticising the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, he said that Nawaz Sharif had become prime minister for the three times but he did not built a single hospital. He said that PM Imran Khan had not received treatment abroad after falling down from stage during a public gathering.

He asked Nawaz Sharif to return looted money if he was afraid of being jailed.

While pointing aim at Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman, the minister said that Asif Ali Zardari should face the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He added that PPP leaders were not threatening to hold political march when summoned by the anti-corruption watchdog.
