Unprovoked Indian firing across LoC martyrs 2, injures 4 civilians

RAWALPINDI: Two civilians including a woman were martyred and 4 received injuries as a result of unprovoked Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in Chakothi sector on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian forces resorted to indiscriminate firing across the Loc which led to the martyrdom of two civilians including a woman injuring 4 others.

Naushad BiBi and Ghulam Hussain were among the martyred and Raja Mehmood, Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammad Zakir and Zahida Bibi sustained injuries.

Pakistan Armed forces gave a befitting response targeting the Indian check posts.

Tensions have been mounting high ever since the Pulwama Attack and unprovoked cross border firing across Loc from the Indian side continues.
