‘Uplift works halted by PTI restarted in KP by PML-N govt’

SWAT (APP): Adviser to the Prime Minister, Engr Amir Muqam here Sunday said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) strongly believed in the country’s uniformed devolopment process and has restarted work on projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Swat after it was halted by the PTI government.
Addressing a public gathering after inauguration of the Passport Office at Khwazakhela in Upper Swat, Engr Amir Muqam said that work on the gas projects started by PMLN Govt in 2017 at Swat, had been halted by the previous government, thus PTI made great injustice with people.
He said the PMLN has restarted work on all halted gas projects in Swat to provide the much needed relief to the people.
During Govt of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, he said that pasport offices were established in all districts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
He said that five new pasport offices at Pathan Lower Kohistan, Chakdara Lower Dir, Sheringal Upper Dir, Shergarh Mardan and Khawzakhela Swat was another gift of PMLN Govt for people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
Engr Amir Muqam said that political opponents could not mislead people of Swat any more as these elements were completed fail to address their problems during nine years long rule of PTI.
He said that Khwazakhela road, gas projects at Charbagh, Manglawar and Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital Swat were completed by the PMLN Govt benefiting millions of people.
Engr Amir Muqam said that feasibility studies for Bisham-Khwazakhela expressway has been completed, adding after completion it would change destiny of people of Malakand division including Swat and Shangla. He said this mega project was approved by the Nawaz Sharif Govt and the present government has restarted work on its feasibility.
The Prime Minister’s Adviser said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar deserved full credit and appreciation for exempting erstwhile Fata and Pata including Malakand division from taxes for another one year, thus provided the much needed relief to people.
He said political and economic devolopment was not possible without former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He said Nawaz Sharif would soon come to Pakistan and lead election campaign of his party.
PMLN has strong roots in masses and would form government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the basis of its performance and record devolopment works.
He said his party after coming into power would bring down price hike, inflation and provide relief to masses.
Amir Muqam said that Rs20 billion relief were provided to people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa under free flour package during Ramazan.
He said that senior parliamentarian Shahgee Gul Afridi has merged his party and joined PMLN along with his parliamentarians and supporters and expressed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and PMLN Quaid Nawaz Sharif.
He said PMLN leadership had stood with people of Khyber Pakthunkhwa including Swat in all difficult situation whether it was floods, terrorism or earthquakes and helped them out of all crisis.
He said people of Upper Swat would now get passports at their doorsteps and would not go to Mingora any more.
On this occasion, the people raised full throated slogans in favor of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, PMLN Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Engr Amir Muqam.
