US to invest more than $5 billion in semiconductor R&D

WASHINGTON (Reuters): The Biden administration expects to invest more than $5 billion from the CHIPS and Science Act in semiconductor-related research and development, including in the National Semiconductor Technology Center, the White House said in a statement on Friday.
