Vegetables, fruits’s prices increased

PESHAWAR: The wave of inflation continued in Peshawar, the prices of vegetables and fruits could not decrease, revealed a visit to the market.

Tomato 90 rupees, Shimla pepper 120 rupees, willow 130 rupees, eggplant 70 rupees per kg while Garlic 460, ginger 1,600, lemon 120 and potato 130 rupees per kg. Cauliflower 100, Zucchini 100, Tenda 120, Turnip 120 and okra 80 are rupees sold.

Among fruits, mangoes reached 270 rupees, peaches 290 rupees, grapes 350 rupees, apples 220 rupees per kilo and guava 140, pear 180 while banana 120 per dozen sold.

The price of live chicken has increased by Rs 20 per kg and now the price of live chicken in the market will reach 405 per kg. (APP)
