WCCI for prosecution of Zainab’s murderer

PESHAWAR: Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Thursday called for exemplary and public prosecution of murderer of 7-year old innocent girl from Kasur who was raped and killed by unknown person.

The awareness seminar arranged here at SCCI building, while presided over by patron in chief of WCCI Ilyas Fitrat Bilour, Acting President WCCI Nuzhar Rauf and others including educationists, scholars, lawyers and political figures.

The participants of the seminar strongly condemned Kasur incident and said that killing of innocent Zainab shake the country and whole nation is awaiting exemplary punishment for the brutal killer.

They noted that incident of children molestation have increased in the country because not a single culprit was either caught or punished. They expressed fear that the incident would further increased if the killers of Zainab and other children’s were not apprehended.

They seminar deplored that 11 children are molested daily in Pakistan and nobody is caught or punished.

The participants demanded of the government to publically hang such culprits to curb child molestation. They also appealed human rights’ bodies and media to play their role in this regard and create awareness in society.

At the end of seminar the participants observed candle lit vigil in memory of Zainab and prayed courage for bereaved family.
