KARACHI: The Cheif Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah aims to make the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) Pakistan leg successful by showing the world that we are a cricket loving nation.
“We are ready to host yet another successful stint of the PSL in Karachi,” said Shah while addressing media at National Stadium Karachi on Monday.
The CM is optimistic to provide best possible facilities to the fans during the matches in Karachi as they are looking forward to make this event better than last year.
“The things will get better this year and people will enjoy their time in the stadiums,” said Shah who overviewed the preparations in the stadium ahead of the event.
He said that the security plan has been finalised and all law enforcement agencies are working overnight to take this event on next level. “The fans need to cooperate with security personnel who will be there to protect them,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that now all eight matches of the PSL’s Pakistan leg will take place in Karachi after Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shifted the matches from Lahore to the city of lights due to logistical and operational issues.
The opener of Pakistan leg of the league will be played between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
