West Indies Women’s A beat Pakistan Women’s A by three wickets

LAHORE: West Indies Women’s A Thursday beat Pakistan Women’s A by three wickets in the second one-dayer played at the Ghani Institute Ground in Lahore.

With victory, West Indies A levelled the three-match series 1-1.

The first ODI was won by Pakistan Women’s A by 8 runs. The third and final ODI will be played on October 29.

West Indies Women’s A won the toss and put Pakistan Women’s A into bat, which scored 188 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.

Shawwal Zulfikar and Iman Fatima provided the opening of 62 runs. Shawal Zulfikar scored 32 runs with four fours and Iman Fatima scored 25 runs with four fours. After 5 wickets fell for 93 runs, Sidra Nawaz and Noreen Yaqoob added 43 runs for the sixth wicket.

For West Indies Women’s A, Ashmini Monesar took 3 wickets for 21 runs. Kiana Joseph dismissed two players.

In response, the West Indies Women’s A reached the target in 49.5 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Captain Rashada Williams scored 71 runs off 94 balls in the West Indies Women’s A innings. Shabika played an innings of 25 runs and Zeida James played 23 runs. Anoushe Nasir took 3 wickets for 36 runs from Pakistan Women’s A.
